Well, as I write this I am down to only 12 days and 21 hours to go. Don’t worry I am not counting, I have a counter on my desktop that is doing it for me. 
It is going by quickly since I have been working a lot. In fact I am going to be working till Thursday this week, and am hoping to work from Sunday, straight though till I leave, but we’ll see what happens with that. Otherwise, things are going well. It still appears that I am going to be taking the Auto Train down, which I am really excited about. A friend will be in Disney the weekend after I arrive, so we are planning on getting together for photo’s or lunch but probably both! I have finally turned in my official resignation at my current job, and it felt really weird to do so, because I love my current job and employer. I have never been happier at a job before. So leaving is a little bitter sweet for me. I have a great partner that I love to work with and respect tremendously. This will be impossible to replace, I can only hope that I get to work with someone else that comes close. Other then that, all is well. I am about to head out to work again, since I have a few final meetings to attend and get things handed off appropriately and I will slowly ride off into the sunset as this job is concerned. 2010 Atlantic City Airshow
Well, the airshow has come and gone, and I was able to get a few photo’s. I am trying to get through them, but as I am mostly working on my netbook it takes a bit. I am a bit disappointed, and wish that I had borrowed a friends Bigma, as he has come to call it, cause I needed a bit more reach. So, that said, there might not be anything worth posting at all. The show was uneventful, there were some timing issues, and we had to take care of a patient during the Thunderbirds show, so I missed the best part of the day. All in all, it was a nice day on the boardwalk. Hopefully I will have a few postable photo’s but if not, I will let you all know.

2 weeks down, 3 more to go
Well, I have made it through the first 2 weeks of being away from my family. I am missing them terribly, and these next 3 weeks can’t go by fast enough. On the days that I am working or sleeping in between my shifts, it isn’t too bad. It is the days like today, where I am off, and have nothing to do but sit around in my brother’s house. I am glad that I am able to stay here with them, but I am still the outsider and feel that way too. This next week at work should help cause I am going to be really busy. I have a lecture that I have to attend on Monday morning, I work that night, then I am working the air show in AC on Wednesday, a CEVO class on Thursday followed by work Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I’m thinking that I will be glad when next week is over. Mostly because I will be another week closer to being with my family, but also because the busy week will be over.
Otherwise, there has been not much going on. I have made it to see some of my family on a few occasions. Our friends that were moving with us, have arrived and gotten settled in their house now that their furniture has arrived. The kids are all starting school on Monday, and are eager to begin in a new year at a new school.
